Inspired by a portrait of Yemaya, this concept evolved over time. Multiple photo shoots were required to properly capture and translate the beauty, power, and culture of each goddess while reducing it to a single still shot.
Unearthed then contrived in a studio apartment in Little Havana during quarantine, this photo series depicts divine feminine energy in all forms and touches on themes of spirituality, cultural beliefs and natural elements.
